Privacy Policy

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Pomodoro — Focus Timer, an Android application distributed through the Google Play Store. It governs how the application handles information on the device on which it is installed. It does not apply to any third-party website, service or store from which the application may be referenced.

What we collect

Nothing. Pomodoro — Focus Timer has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. The application does not make a single network request.

What is stored on your device

Your preferences (focus, short break and long break durations, cycle count, auto-start, sound, vibration and keep-screen-on toggles) and your session history (timestamp and duration of completed focus sessions, kept for up to 365 entries) are saved to private storage on your device only. This information is used solely to render statistics inside the application and is never transmitted off the device. Uninstalling the application removes all stored data.

Android permissions

The application requests only the following Android permissions, each tied to a single feature:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — to display the end-of-session notification on Android 13 and later.
• VIBRATE — to vibrate the device at the end of a session when the user enables vibration.
• WAKE_LOCK — to keep the screen on while a session is active when the user enables that option.

None of these permissions grant access to personal data, advertising identifiers, location, contacts, the camera, the microphone, the network or any external service. The application has no INTERNET permission and is therefore technically unable to make network requests of any kind.

Children

The application is suitable for users aged 13 and above. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Third parties

The application does not integrate with, nor share data with, any third-party service or analytics provider.

Changes to this policy

If this policy is updated in a future release, the new version will appear at this URL before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the revision.
